Hi All :D

I just thought id say hello and what a good website this looks like. Cant wait to have a good look around.

I have been 'interested' in photography for a few years now but Im not one for reading books or manuals so I never really learned how to take photos or use my cameras properly but I have decided now is the time to do so.

I use to have a Nikon D50, then I moved on to the Canon 400D, then back to a compact Canon Powershot S5 IS and now I got myself a Nikon D40 on Saturday as a birthday present as I thought the D40 is a good camera to learn with.

I am sure I will be asking for lots of advice and tips and hopefully I should pick things up as I go along.

One or two yes! Im just trying to find the right one - when I was younger I think I may have rushed into buying the newest most expensive one i could find but as the d40 shows, sometimes that doesnt suit our needs or experience!
