I'm an administrator on a Car forum and one of our members recommended your forum to those of us who wanted to improve our photography skills. Being one of those who'll take any advice he can get I had a quick look and signed up a few minutes later.
I'm an enthusiastic amateur with a Nikon D50 and an 18 - 200 VR lens.
My subject matter is generally cars and family holiday snaps. In respect of Cars, I'll be using your search button to see what tips I can pick up, and as for holiday snaps, well I'm hoping to progress a bit beyond that.
Our car forum do a calendar each year, where members choose their favourite photos from those submitted by the other members. The quality (and quantity) of submissions has greatly increased over the last couple of years, so I'm hoping to find a bit of inspiration on here, that will make my submission for the 2009 calendar stand out from the crowd.
