Hi all!
I've been fascinated by photography for at least 20 years. I started off with a Zenit 12XP and learned the basics about light, composition and B+W darkroom techniques. I upgraded to a Canon EOS 1000F a few years later and I currently use an EOS 350D.
I've never had 'the picture', just a series of mediocre to not-bad attempts so I must be an incredibly slow learner, but at least I have patience, eh?
I've recently been looking at some amazing bird photographs and have a yearning for a nice big 300/400 prime lens but could never afford the outlay if I wanted to keep the wife and house too!
I look forward to learning loads from all of you and dazzling you with my ineptitude from time to time.
