Another lesson learned

Never leave the shutter cocked when faffing about with lenses, especially when you have cacky fingers!

Having loaded a roll into the OM10, I have now taken 2 photos.......












.....of the inside of the lens cap!

I still haven't learnt that lesson, i'm sure each roll i put in i always come back with half assed shots of nothingness where i have it cocked ready then not take the shot and it goes off either in my bag or pointing at the road or my feet lol

I once saw 24 photos of the photographer's right ear, all very OoF

It was one of this 110 cameras and she was looking through it the wrong way

Well I did say I'd take some photos for them, should be some interesting expressions when I pull out the Olympus.

Did something similar when picking up a Nikon F3/ MD4 combo. Had left the MD set to continuous & went through 4 frames before I managed to get my finger off the motor drive release button. More careful now

Yes there is my friend.......opening a darkslide while the shutter is still in T mode ( ie: pre view mode) .......potentially missing out on the shot altogether if that was the last sheet of film to hand.

I was working out how to use a new cable release on the Pentax 645N (auto advance). The cable stuck, so that was 5 identical frames of Velvia before I could release it..

Been there on LF too. Removed the dark slide before closing the lens down. Especially bad on slide. £3-4 per frame anyone? :/

Or not remembering if you wound the film on before putting it away last time... Do you take the shot and risk a double exposure or leave it and risk it being blank... Choices choices
