Seems I have inadvertently found this place whilst scratching around trying to find a decent tripod for normal money.

A link from a link, and I'm here, and have to say quite glad to have found a UK based forum. As good as the US forums are, being in a different time zone and usually world has it's problems ;)

I'm now using a 40D after driving a 4X4 over my old kit (a horrible,horrible accident) I'm still very much learning but gradually getting to grips with it all.

I'm looking forward to dropping by to what looks a very good forum:thumbs:

Hello all, Grumpybadger you've got me intrigued, any more info to get the old grey matter firing? I'm in a Vx220 myself now so I'm doubly interested to put the name to a face!!

I was paulb on SELOC and vx220.org. Had a Rabiata Red 2.2 NA. I think we met at the rolling road place in Norfolk.

I remember you now grumpybadger, it was at Emerald in Watton and it was chuffing cold, and about 2003:eek:

Glad to see all the locals on here, I'm a little disappointed though that there's been no reference to us all being related;)
