Hi,

Just a quick hello from another newbie :wave:

I am thinking about making the move from SLR to DSLR so I'm off to ask lots of questions!

Greetings from another new recruit. DSLR, do it, you know you want to. Any idea what you'll go for?
 
Wow - that was quick thanks!

I've just put a post in the equipment section - my SLR is a Canon EOS 300 so I'll stick with that range so I can use my existing lenses.

Looking around in this forum I'm starting to feel guilty that more poor SLR has been sidelined since I got a digital compact :(

My film SLR went to the back of the cupboard when I got my first digital compact too.
 
Thanks for all the welcomes folks :)

I'm glad I'm not the only person who abandoned their SLR in favour of a digital compact - I had to get it off the top of the wardrobe to remember what lenses I had!
