There is an interesting offer in ALDI next week. It is a USB microscope complete with a box of slides. Cost 29.99, Maplin sell a similar model, just the basic one for about fifty quid. :clap:
 
ALDI USB microscope

Very interested in this but all the ones I have seen before have very low pixel size images eg 480x640.

I know not to expect too much, they are designed to view the images on screen, but would be nice to be able to print some of them.

Does anyone have any idea of the image pixel sizes of this one??

Having nipped up to ALDI and purchased the electron microscope. I loaded it and found that the main theme seems to be on a video camera. The microscope works ok and the 200* is powerful. It is worth the 30 notes , but you must judge for yourself.
