Yes
There's lot's or high-end kit being offered ATM supposedly at 99p start with no reserve and free shipping.
The scam is (when you read down the listing) that it's actually BIN @ £1300 (yes, every item) but you have to email RESELLER2002 (at) GMAIL.COM for "approval" to buy. :nono:

This T&C breaking instruction :rules: is text in an image so ebay can't scan it, and so far I've seen exactly the same fraud being perpetrated from two different accounts. :suspect:

care to share exact links? surely ebay needs to do something about it.

Biu of a pointless thread without links to the items onsale.. and hopefully you told ebay?

Yes, I told ebay, and they've all been cleaned off for the moment.*
There were hundreds of items, not just camera stuff; musical instruments, medical and industrial equipment, lots of very high value stuff.
The common factor was the image (in the item descriptions) I linked to in the first post.

*I did that yesterday too, but they were back again this morning under another (hacked) username.

Aaaand they're back, this time being sold by an American antiques dealer.

I reported them within 20 minutes of listing, so hopefully they'll be gone again soon too.

I can keep this up just as long as they do. :nono: :bat:

You wouldn't. All the dodgy stuff's been deleted, so there's just the sellers legitimate antiques left.

They don't appear to have resurfaced anywhere else yet.

These appear a few times a day, I report one of the batch when I find it, they normally get dealt with pretty quick, it has been going on for about a year or so.

I found one a few weeks ago, was an unused and boxed 5D3 on auction for 99p but read the description and there was a phone number and said he would take £900 cash. I text him as he was only half hour away and offered to go and collect it and pay cash on collection that night (was a Tuesday) He wasnt interested and wanted to wait for the weekend, but also wanted a 50% deposit to show I was serious. The best bit is he wanted it by bank transfer!!! With that I text back saying anyone that done that would need to be crazy. Paypal is bad enough to blindly send a £450 deposit but bank transfer!!! lol Seriously, do people REALLY fall for this sort of stuff??

I have been trawling ebay for a 5dmkiii the last few weeks, and have to admit that most of the listings are dodgy in one way or another, I think ill bite the bullet and get a new one.
