Well at least I think so.:|

I emailed this seller on Friday asking about cash on collection as I lived local. I'm not really wanting the camera but the listing has all the signs of a scammer and I hate people being ripped off..:bat:

1: Poor listing.
2: No feedback.
3: No response to emails.

I reported this to eBay this morning stating I had been in touch with no reply from the seller 2 days ago..

The listing has not been removed.

Somebody assure me it looks dodgy or am I being too nervous.:help:

Ebay Link

:suspect:
i would be carefull mate 2 items both finish in 4 hours could be a geniune sale "s but could be a hit and run....:suspect:

Hmm. Same seller is also listing THIS

:suspect:

Dodgy or not 0 feedback would put me off. Plus he's only been on ebay for a week.

Jeebus why don't eBay do something..

the main problem with the ebay add is that the pics of the cam are tagged with PK Studios, normally the ebayer tags the image with their own ebay name. This doesn't match.

Be interesting to see what it makes.

Everyone starts on ebay as a newbie but that's a sad lack of info about that cameras use in that listing. I'd steer clear.

I've done a Google on "PK Studios in Leeds but nothing found..:suspect:

Someone is gonna get their fingers burnt on this I'm sure..:(

Loads of hits on Google for PK Studios which seems to be an Audio/Video concern.

his name would be enough 2 put anyone off retard at 63. Sounds like a cheap dig at the winner! + a very big wounder for the winner

Certainly looks dodgy, but from past experience Ebay are very reluctant to pull any auction unless it is really obvious it is a scam.

they would probably pull it now for using someones pictures but live help isn't working for me at the moment.
I have emailed the other seller to let them know.

Top man..

Well spotted, researched and snitched on :D

Nice one Tim, smells really dodgy to me that one, more so for the fact he didn't respond to the cash on collection question.

2 hours and 47 minutes to go and still not pulled.:(

Someones gonna have a rotten week..:cuckoo:

Well thats put a stop to that sale...

I just reported these to a new livehelp address someone gave me, but they are cr@p, once upon a time they would pull them instantly but I had to report it to and email address which takes ages.
Oh well done all I can do except bid on it with a fake account ;)

Just checked both items "pulled" bloody well done! Opps too slow :o)

Well done chaps

Well done guys. It's amazing though that people are gullible enough to bid that sort of wonga and not smell a rat.

My thoughts exactly Cedric, I cannot believe that buyers just place bids of up to thousands with people that are dodgy "ie" this case..

Well done scraggs.

Just a thought, but I wonder how many of those bids on an obvious scam item are even genuine? If I was running a scam then One of the things I think I'd do is create a couple of false bidders to jack the price up a smidge or two now and again.....

Unfortunately now that ebay hides the bidders name when the auction goes over a certain price it is now hard to check on shill bidding.
Yes it is suprising people bid on this stuff, but that one was not in the usual format for a con auction and because of that looked fairly genuine.
It's probably already been relisted with someone elses pictures this time with a different username.

Thats a sad fact mate..:(

Got my fingers burned some time ago on ebay. A very nice looking Nikon turned up but the shutter mechanism was collapsed. Seller had dissapeared so once bitten twice shy....no more Ebay for me thanks.

I also know a few people who, when they know it is a scam, will put in artificially high bids in the hope that others will either realise or just stop bidding as the price was too high.
