Hi

Another dust thread I'm afraid.

I have looked on the sensor and it looks spotless. Although when testing at f22 against white there is some grey spots still

Is there definitely something on sensor or is the issue else where?

Check the sensor using a magnifying glass and a good light, Adam.

Thanks I'll dig out a magnifying glass

You'll need a light too, but what do you want to see?

Shoot a plain wall at high f/number, and there it is. What you see in the image is upside-down on the sensor though, so a mark in say top-right will be bottom-right of the sensor as you look at it.

Was just looking to see what it is really there are several small dots when I zoom in after I taking a picture of white paper. Not sure if I am being to picky though if people just put up with them?

Thanks for the information on mirror didn't realise that

I leave them alone until it become a pain to spot heal them in post!
Then I'll give the sensor a clean!
If your not shooting loads of narrow aperture stuff its not a problem and then you only tend to see them in lighter areas(sky).
Dust in your camera is par for the course with DLSR's!

Thanks I think I will just leave it then more trouble than its worth I think

Give it a blast with a rocket blower. Make Sure you hold the camera downwards so the sensor aims to the floor.

I use a Lenspen Sensorklear if / when I need to clean the sensor from dust bunnies - bit of a nerve shredding time the first time you do it, but take your time and follow the instructions and works well...

Or do what I did, go round to Andy's house and he will do it for you!

Yep, fine Andy thanks! Still not a single bunny in sight. Foot/leg is doing fine, up to 11 miles walkies now, going back to where it happend next week, can you believe it's 12 months!
