Thanks I'll dig out a magnifying glass
You'll need a light too, but what do you want to see?
Shoot a plain wall at high f/number, and there it is. What you see in the image is upside-down on the sensor though, so a mark in say top-right will be bottom-right of the sensor as you look at it.
Was just looking to see what it is really there are several small dots when I zoom in after I taking a picture of white paper. Not sure if I am being to picky though if people just put up with them?
Thanks for the information on mirror didn't realise that
I leave them alone until it become a pain to spot heal them in post!
Then I'll give the sensor a clean!
If your not shooting loads of narrow aperture stuff its not a problem and then you only tend to see them in lighter areas(sky).
Dust in your camera is par for the course with DLSR's!
I use a Lenspen Sensorklear if / when I need to clean the sensor from dust bunnies - bit of a nerve shredding time the first time you do it, but take your time and follow the instructions and works well...
Or do what I did, go round to Andy's house and he will do it for you!![]()
Yep, fine Andy thanks! Still not a single bunny in sight. Foot/leg is doing fine, up to 11 miles walkies now, going back to where it happend next week, can you believe it's 12 months!
