Olympic road cycling champion Alexandre Vinokourov has been accused of 'fixing a race'. This scum bag should not have been allowed back into the sport. He's up there with Riccardo Ricco when it comes to lowlifes.

So it would appear he did a deal which saw him one of the classics.

vino always was a bit dodgy lol, are you surprised! biggest disappointment of the Olympics was watching him ride away from a navel gazing peleton after our guys burnt all their matches in the first 200 km

I've always said he never deserved to be cycling again, I never feel comfortable seeing him win and wouldn't be surprised if something dodgy went on with the Olympic race.

That sort of thing goes on at every level of cycling and always will. At an amateur level I’ve been in breakaways before when another rider has offered the prize money to let them win (to get the points to move up a category usually). I just went for the win anyway, if I won then full prize money and points. If I lost, full prize money and a few less points!
