I start my photography HNC at Bradford college tonight.
It's for two years, two nights a week and the first year is basically all film. I get to fondle things in the dark :D
I am really looking forward to this, picked up a EOS 3 from somebody at work for £50. Have been playing a bit with this, it is a dam fine bit of kit.
Now lets see if my images improve.

Good luck matey, hope you enjoy it.
I'm on my 2nd week of the NCFE level 1 tonight and we're using film as well for the next few weeks. I'm really looking forward to giving it a try as I haven't used film for 25 years.

good luck geordi. do you need any previous exam qualifications to start a photog. HNC ??

I had to go for an interview, I had two projects from my C&G course that were in for marking so I took my lappy in with the electronic versions. The tutor looked at them and other examples and then offered me a place.

I have to sat the when I had my interview I was shown round and the facilities available are fantastic. I do know from the first roll we shoot we will have to develop and process it ourselves.:eek: Better not take shots I would not want to loose!!!

It will certainly keep you busy!! At least with you completing your C&G you have a head start...:clap:... Sounds exciting. Hope it goes well for you.
 
Now completely ****ed off:thumbsdown::'(:(:shake:, got a letter saying my course was cancelled due to lack of numbers. Checked with the tutor today and he confirms it. He is not a happy bunny either.

So to take my frustrations out, I have booked 5 days in Chicago in January to see Metallica play at the Allstate Arena.
So whats good to shoot in Chicago in probably bloody cold weather then?
