I'm having trouble tracking down what's going wrong with a significant selection of photos taken with my Lee Big Stopper.
Many instances on different days and different lighting exhibit a common flaw. This takes the form of a central pink streak with some additional parallel banding. the streak is aligned with the long side. I've eliminated lenses as it appears with more than one. I'm using a D700 with Lee Big Stopper. I've tried to ensure that the edges of the filter are shaded from any stray sunlight. The link below points to an example image and my initial investigations. Does this look like filter flaw? Camera/sensor issue? Operator error?
I'd be really interested to hear any thoughts anyone can offer.
