Beach shot is a good idea but like Shorty says it needs a little bit more punch somewhere, tweaking the contrast would be worth trying.

No idea why the title thing's not working . . . sorry.

I seem to be late catching up this week.

Fun : I like it as a landscape type shot in its own right. Very nicely composed, although I think it might have been better from a slightly different angle so that the groynes weren't quite so horizontal across the frame.
As far as the theme goes I agree with the others that I'd like to see the people a bit closer up.

Easy : Now that is a lovely clear shot :thumbs:
I can't believe the detail that you've captured in the crumbs and even the sprinkling of sugar on the top. Very well done IMO!
 
Ohh, another tasty easy pic! Nice one. :)

To edit the title you have to find a "go advanced" button when in edit mode. That should give you access to it.

Fine shot Andy, First thoughts were that I can't see he edges of the pie and that the top left and right were a little distracting, then I felt really hungry and realized how appetizing you have made this look.

I guess it works just fine.

By the way I had the same prob when I added my Colour shot for this week, tried to edit the title and got an error.

Fun shot - it´s a good landscape shot but it doesn´t scream fun to me :(

Easy as Pie, I like this one, it looks appetizing and is spot on theme :clap::clap:

Colour - Great idea, and a cheap prop too (but no pie to eat :(). I´d like a little more DoF but that´s just personal preference. :clap: :thumbs:

Fun (seaside) is a lovely shot and it would make a great HD shot!

Easy yummy, great colour, clarity, cropping :clap: :clap:

Colour, great idea, might have more punch if the words are in focus!

Fun (sandcastle) is another lovely shot with great colour, clarity and composition. :clap::clap:

Colours - Excellent idea. I would probably have picked a more vibrant colour card myself, but that's just personal opinion. The interpretaion was spot on.

Fun - Love both photos, but the second one you posted suits the theme better in my opinion. It immediately reminded me of my own childhood days on the beach many moons ago! :)
 
Fun - Sandcastle is definitely more on theme, but I really liked the other shot too. It just didn't shout "fun" for me.

A really innovative idea for colour. I would never have thought of that, but I agree with Karmgarda that a more vibrant colour chart might have had more punch.

Easy: very tasty! And is that custard? Very yummy indeed. Oh - sorry - and I like the photo, too. :thumbs:

Fun: Sandcastle - I can see we'll have to have a sandcastle-building competition - I did a sandcastle, too. I have to say, though, your sand looks less gritty and stony than mine. :) It was definitely fun!

Colour: I like the idea but agree with earlier comments about choice of colours. A little but more dof would have helped to emphasise the colours, I think. :)

I like the first fun shot, but agree with the others, it's a good shot, but doesn't have that element of fun in it...

Easy... yummy... I'm hungry now though :D... good shot, lovely colours.

Colour... I like the way you've used the DOF on this one, but I think the names need to be spot on sharp.

The sandcastle is spot on and works well for the fun theme.
 
Love the easy as pie nicely done :)

the colour shot needs more of the different colours imo great idea though :D

Nicely done Andy. Having just eaten my sandwich... a slice of pizza would go down well about now. Only thing I would say, the colours could do with a bit more oomph... possibly a hit of contrast and saturation ??

Nice shot Andy, really good idea and take on the theme, they look like they've been exposed for some time. It looks like the WB might be a little out, but that could be my silly overbright mac.... also, maybe just a little more room on the right hand side.
 
Excellent idea! How come I never thought of this :thinking: My idea for this week is going to be so hard to execute that I think I might have another "iffy photo" week :lol:

I think you could loose the flex top right but a nice shot fitting the theme really well.

Is the photo a bit dark? Not sure if it is just my monitor or not.
Only other critique I could make: would be nice to see a spark between the wires!!

Now that's one appliance I don't fancy using - even with a nice new plug on it!
Really good idea - simple, but fits the theme perfectly and you've got some really nice detail in the wires.

It might be my monitor but WB is slightly off for me too. It looks a bit pinky.
 
Great interpretation of the theme Andy, well thought of :clap::clap:

WB needs a tweak as it's pinkish on my screen too, a tiny bit more space on the right and lose the flex at the top would make it even better IMHO - but feel free to ignore me completely ;)
 
Image is a bit pink and dark on my monitor, but a good interpretation and a sharp idea! :)
 
Worse effect this time, I couldnt think of anything, best thing I got was a one sided headphone :( Oh well...

Exposed: Very clever idea and probably as well you didn't go for the spark option. :lol: Yes, it looks a bit pink and dark on my monitor too. The light looks as though it wasn't doing you any favours, imo. But excellent take on the theme. :thumbs:

Mono: Not so sure about this. I like the idea - mono was how we heard music before stereo (I'm old enough to remember such things :lol:), but the wire and the shadows look a bit confusing. The headband and earpiece look good and I wonder if they would have made a stronger image on their own. :shrug:

Cracking idea Andy, and I'm not sure I'd have been able to execute it any better.
However, I'm afraid it doesn't move me very much and I can't ignore the focus point...
But hey! Well done on getting up the motivation. Keep going! :)
