I remember a few years ago when you couldnt open a photography magazine without seeing Andy Rouses face either on an advert or penning articles and then he must have just fallen off the face of the earth...then guess what I got a magazine this week and there is Andy Rouse advertising something and OMG has that boy been comfort eating...funny how these big photo celebs can just dissipate into the ether and you dont even realise that they have gone until they magically re-appear....isnt this world fickle

I didnt even realise that he was not so prolific with his advertising, however he is still keeping busy..I know cos I googled him just to check that he had not been unwell, thinking that this may explain his absence...seems he has been doing more expeditions but isnt it funny how big names can just disapear and leave no void.

He is still very active, but he no longer needs to get his name known. I know he does a lot of courses & seminars now - I've been on a couple and they are very good (Although you do need to be pretty thick skinned on his photo days!)

i thoght the same when i saw the thread title, it was only when i read the thread that he meant the one that does the reviews for a camera shop (warehouse express) and is a well known wildlife photog
