I'm stuck. I have a new Android phone (BB DTEK 50) and I'm trying to link it with my laptop (W7) as a 'trusted device' so that I don't have to keep re-entering the PIN on the lock screen. The phone and laptop are paired using Bluetooth, and can 'see' each other, but that's as far as I can get. When I try to add the laptop using the Smart Lock steps it just gives me the following message:
'Can’t add device. Make sure Bluetooth device MARTYNLAPTOP is on and close enough to connect to this device'.
They're both on, and within 10cms of each other, so that doesn't really help...
I'd be grateful for any advice.
