Aargggh.... FFS, can anyone tell me how to turn off Facebook asking/showing recent photos from my phone and asking if I want to share them?

According to 'tinternet I should just have to go to app settings and turn off photo sync, but I don't have any photo sync options in there?
 
Na, that's to do with notifications which I managed to sort out myself a long time ago. I don't really want bloody FB but have a daughter overseas who insists on using it to keep the world (which includes me) updated with what she's up to...... :(
 
Ah ok. I've no idea about these things tbh, I don't even have a mobile phone! :LOL:

I've never experienced this problem you're having. Lots of other issues with FB, but not this one.

I've just checked the Facebook app on my Android phone and there is nothing in the settings that looks like "photo sync". I've also checked the Facebook mobile website and there's nothing in the settings there either.

Next time thus happens, can you take a screenshot, and post it here? It might help us work out exactly where it's coming from...
 
Possibly a phone setting rather than an FB one. IIRC, Mrs Nod gets offered the option to post her shots to her FB page but can turn the option off if she wants to (and gets to choose whether or not to do the upload rather than have it fully automated.
 
Your latest pics in the gallery appear on top. You have to go through and select if you want to post them. It doesn't do it itself.

Is it really that much of a hardship to ignore it?
 
For me, these are mere 'snaps' taken with my phone. Never going to match what u do with my camera.
Unsavoury or not.... [emoji32]
