Android and facebook sync

If I try to sync contacts in the app, it adds loads of new phone numbers that I don't want from people I am friends with on Facebook.
How can I make it only sync the photos etc of the contacts I already have in the phone?

Iirc it is an option when you sync your phone with Facebook The first time
 
Just had a look if you open the Facebook app and then touch your bottom left menu button on the phone a menu Pops up go into settings scroll all the way down to sync. Tap on sync and it will give you the option to sync with existing contacts only. Hth.

I did that and still got a load of random people :S
