Hi

I have my samsung tab2 set up,backed up using a backup app.Can I put the sdcard in another tablet and use the same backup once I install the same app on the device. Or is it a case of using the backup and restore through google,if that will do the same job. Any pointers please. Thanks

Sounds like I am using the same app, so should be ok then. Thanks for the reply.
 
I use that one too. Very good.

I found that using Google back up was a bit hit and miss. Don't even get me started about backing up contacts to Google :(

All your contacts will be linked to the gmail account you used when setting up your phone so shouldn't need backing up.
 
I know and have done so but I like to see my contacts with full names attached and not just Joe, Fred, Fred, Fred, Fred, Sally etc
