Andrew Sachs Has Died

I guess he had a good run but sad none the less.

One of my favourite TV shows ever, I still laugh despite having seen them numerous times.
 
"He no rat, He hamster"

Used the phrase last week to describe my brothers new (rather small) dog :)
 
He was brilliant in FT, although it did help having perfect scripts and the other cast members in great form too.
 
RIP Andrew :( One of the best shows ever made

88 is a good age, I just hope his last few years were in good health, too much emphasis is put on longevity when quality of life is what's important.
 
Is it just me that finds it amazing that there were only 12 episodes of FT?
It seemed more!
 
I believe they only did 12 so they could quit on a high, rather that keep going 'til the joke became tired, old and no longer popular.
 
Really enjoyed the FT episode last night .... superb! :clap:
 
Rumour was that there was a 13th in the can, but I imagine if that was true we would have seen it or part of it by now.

Andrew Sachs seemed to be a really nice bloke, talented and we will miss him.

Tho' he will always live on it FT............
