So what does this Bergger stuff do that the other B & W films don't?

According to Firstcall its "special" so that's good enough for me :D

And there are a couple of example shots as well. Looks nice actually, I may give it a whirl especially as its only just over a pound a sheet for 5x4.

Linhof and Studio have been selling Bergger film for years - I have a box of 5x4 200 ASA (OK, ISO for the youngsters here) in my fridge for some years. There's more info about Bergger here.

I was wondering how you'd go about devving it, when new films obviously wouldn't be in the Massive Dev Chart... but the Pancro 400 actually is, along with a number of other Bergger films. No times for Ilfosol 3, though... maybe I'll give it a miss, unless anyone else can work out a guess for me?

There's a new article about Bergger Pancro on the Phoblographer site:

http://www.thephoblographer.com/2017/02/05/bergger-pancro-400-newest-addition-black-white-film/

Not sure if it adds anything new.

Seems to have appeared on several sites in the last few days, not quite clear why. Maybe they've got a marketing person feverishly sending out material and the sites don't bother to check if it's really new. It's odd because in 135 it's hard to find; Bergger themselves have a minimum order of >€30 which would require an order of 5, but no stock. Shipping to me would apparently be €17.10!!!

The only UK supplier I've been able to find is FirstCall who say "Temporarily unavailable until 15/01/2017". There price is £3.68, which seems quite good as it apparently does include VAT, but shipping is £7.99 or more...

Has anyone actually tried this film?

Looks like another one of us was on Bergger. I have just done the same investigation. I don't need yet another film type really but film gives me the kid in a sweetshop thing and it's impossible to resist :)

I'm interested in trying it in 120 but I can't find any at all.

There's a UK supplier, I emailed them the other day and they are going to get in touch when 120 and sheet film back in stock. Should be in the next couple of weeks.

Is that linhof studios?

NTPhotoworks have 4x5, 5x7 and 10x8 sheets listed in stock. Might be worth contacting them about the availability of 135/120 too?

Had an email from macodirect this morning, Pancro 400 is now available in near enough every format - 35mm, 120 and a variety of sheets up to 8"x10". Prices appear to be competitive, 35mm is €6.50 a roll, dropping to €5.90 for 10 or more. 120 is €6.10 a roll, dropping to €5.50 for 10 or more.

Linky.

Plus €12.90 postage...

They haven't finished adding it yet. There aren't any shipping methods. Not that I immediately went to their site...Or phoned them to let them know so it's all sorted now :)
