Scotland has decided, common sense has prevailed and as per my post yesterday I'm shortly off to collect my winnings and go shopping for a new camera. It's a great morning for the United Kingdom ! :)

The birds have just started up outside my window, a dawn chorus for the start of what could possibly be quite troubled times in some ways. What happens from here on in will more than likely change the political landscape of the United Kingdom in huge ways for all it's people. In fact I would probably go as far as to say that the real arguments start about now. Hang on folks, it might be a bumpy ride ;)

Gone as the polls and bookies predicted. The Yes campaign just didn't convince enough on the economy.

He's not being very magnanimous in defeat. Keeps saying 1.6m, bless, maths and adding up hasn't been his strong point during the campaign.

To be fair he must be dead inside.

Unlike the no politicians with other matters to deal with, this has been Salmond's only purpose in life for years and he's failed.
