As the title says, this was a talk on lighting that I gave at the Talk Photography Convention, Blackpool. I was quite well behaved and they didn't need to beep anything I said:)

It's me talking non stop for an hour. If that hasn't put you off, here is the video. I can never make the embed feature work, sorry.

Who did the titles?! Covention? Pfft.

Very informative video though. Are the pictures anywhere? It would be useful to see which were produced with which lighting set up.

I started to watch video this last night, but at 1 hour long I didn't finish it, so will hopefully revisit it tonight.

I would also like to see the final shots that were captured, either as part of the video, or somewhere else.

This is embarrassing:'( I did write an article on the Lencarta blog, showing the photos, but it's disappeared... The pics were actually pretty good considering that they were just quickies.
I think it must be a victim of the upgrade to the new server. I'll see if the techie guy can recover it.
 
Just watched the first half, very good advice given.

Also very funny when you think the lightmeter is the microphone. :lol:
 
Rather than trying to recover the lost material, I've re-written a shorter version of the blog entry, which will hopefully help to make sense of the video.

I have had trouble sleeping at night now for weeks, been putting this on now for past 3 nights and I have dozed off just like that! 15 mins in now, should have it finished in the next few weeks :D

Only joking, enjoyed watching :thumbs:
