So at work today a mate said I could have this as he was going to ditch it in the bin and if I didn't want it to bin it:

Is it a real find or just old junk ? ?

Very pretty cameras, I don't think the Land 95 will convert to pack film but it might convert to 120.

You'd need to lay them out better so we can really see what you've got, and provide good views of all sides of each item.

I've never had one, but it isn't worthy of the bin!!
Even if you find no use for it, there will be someone, possibly on here who would be glad to give it a home and use it.

Thanks guys.

I just took a few snaps of them (looks like two cameras) with my phone. When I get a chance I'll get my 7D out and shoot some better shots.

That will make a nice 4x5 large format conversion I believe ;0)

The lens isn't as flexible as a Polaroid 110 but would still cover large format film I think.

I've had to put it away as SWMBO doesn't like it's musty smell :(

If it's musty then packing it away is going to do it no favours nor rid it of it's smell.

It needs to be aired, preferably outdoors, obviously not in the rain!

Given time the smell will disperse but not if it's wrapped up and stored away!

I wonder if putting it into a box with an activated carbon sachet will absorb the musty odour smells quicker than simply airing it???

Indeed....hang it on the washing line and get that lovely fresh smell :D

Amazing how men ever get married in that case :)

I'm single ( yet again ) so guess i best have my annual bath if I wish to meet a pretty lady:p

My two puddy tats don't mind my stench though, one of which can be found regularly snugged up asleep in the washing machine amongst discustingly dirty clothing.............and that's the female cat!!!!:D

I'm not really a cat lover but could do with one for while to catch some mice....saves me putting down traps everywhere with small dollops of peanut butter.

Well Yelle, as she is called, is a dab hand at catching mice, birds etc even rats.....OMG she turned up with one once that weighed nearly as much as her!!!

If you prefer dogs, terriers in particular will keep mice at bay;)

Well if in Poty was "animal life" we'd have some shots to show..h'mm mine would be a mouse in a snap trap :D

That's animal death, not life, you cruel man, Brian!

....I could use the film up in my RB with a mouse I've caught for "still death" shots ;)

"Ah, yes, I'm a particular fan of his later work which contrasupposes the transitory nature of life with those brief moments which contribute to defining us as mortal beings."

I'm jumping on the hipster bandwagon early this time - I liked Brian's stuff before long it became cool.

As you know Dean the Victorians were into death shots where they would prop up the dead... baby, infant or grown up with the family for a shot, but all I've got is this shot:- :eek:o_O well I was testing my 19mm lens for closeups and this was the only way I could get the darned creature to stay still for the shot
