It seems that somehow I've managed to upset KayJay but misunderstanding what he's said!

For this, I offer my apologies, and hope that he doesn't take it too seriously.

I also offer my apologies to the Mods. & Admins. for causing any undue stir.

I hope this clear the air, and that this issue can be water under the bridge.
 
Don't know what you said or the thread in question, but it seems people have to walk on egg shells in here.

I am afraid to say anything anymore to many tender people in here.
 
though it seems unfair to comment on Kayjay when He/She cannot respond - i have read the thread in question and i fear comments like 'Young Man' even if meant in a different manner, come across as very patronsing. If you read back through the thread i think you will see Kayjay becomes very uncomfortable after that point.

I know, despite being a 'young person' i dont appreciate that fact being pointed out whilst i am conversing with someone, it gets on my nerves!

Why was it closed?

I am very confused if threads like that are closed we will never have discussions on here at all.

And was kayjay banned for that or was it something else?
 
Of course, we don't know if any posts have been deleted. Quite possible.
 
Nice to see you sticking your oar in where it's not needed Jo, how about tjis, you clealry don't like it here, so why not clear off and pass comment on things you know nothing about elsewhere?

As for jaykays ban, not warranted IMO so he's unbanned again(this time)
 
The sad thing is I've been sitting here refreshing my page to see when my ban got lifted :(

I'm not sure you need to apologise. Reading that thread it's a perfect example of one of the problems with the internet in that it's hard to discern the tone someone is using in their messages. It's easily done.

If you were nearby I'd take you out for coffee or something :)

Thank God you're back. I had an awful night, I didn't want things to get to that extent.

Yes, I do owe you & TP staff / owners an apology. I should have been able to defuse any possible escalation. Also, I shouldn't have taken things too seriously.

You are a very valued member here, and your input is equally valued, which I often find very interesting.

I pray and hope it's all water under the bridge :)

If you don't mind, I will take you up on that offer for coffee . . . but it may be a while when I am next back in UK :(
 
for some reason i can see soon in forums there being a rule where you have to state what you mean by your writing, lets just hope it doesnt get that far and people either start to have a sense of humour or stop being so uptight about some things.
 
Better that a poster takes responsibility for what they write and keeps in mind that what they write may not been seen by all others in the way it was intended.

Expecting that others should conform to your attitudes or point of view is a pretty sure way to cause strife.
 
Nowt wrong with a bit of patronisation, every friday after work I call into somerfields for 4 cans of cains beer and if my favourite checkout babe is on she always says "have you got ID on you", at 45 years old I love it and truly believe that she thinks I am under age (yeah right) and she is about 60 years young Lol.

I think it is refreshing to see Wail so genuinely concerned for kayjay in the event of a possible misunderstanding..if everyone was that big internetville would be a cool place.
