Yes
So I sol off all my camera equipment a couple of year ago but, as I'm on furlough for a couple of months, I'm getting pangs again. I then remembered giving my first ever DSLR to the missus (12 years ago) but she lost interest very quickly. Managed to dig it out this afternoon, have put the battery on charge and then realised there was no compact flash card in it!

Anyway, here she is wearing the Tamron 18-250mm, the 1st lens I ever bought.

Snap! (or nearly) My A65 with its 16~300mm Tamron...

I think I have a 1GB CF card here doing nothing...

I KNOW I have some kicking around doing not-a-lot! If you (sorry, Mrs F!) want a loaner, drop me a PM (if that doesn't contravene forum "sales" rules) and I'll stick a couple in the post to you.

Nice, a sort of nephew to the A100

Thanks chaps but I think it's somewhere in the house, Mrs F is going to look for it tomorrow.

Just to add I've got a space CF - SD adapter (invaluable!) that I'm happy to whizz out to you if no joy. I find much better than CF card as I just pop out the SD card straight into the sd card reader on my Mac; Otherwise its a faff getting a CF adapter (barely used now!) or plugging in the camera to the computer (if you've not lost the USB cable) which is just asking to be tripped up with extraneous wires!

You're welcome to it either way, I only ever need one in my Kodak DCS and Canon D30!

That's a very kind offer but the missus is going to dig it out today (She's in the middle of tidying her office and is sure it's at the bottom of one of her drawers). I don't have an SD card anyway but I do have a USB cf reader.

I've also got a spare 8GB kingston CF card I used to use in my old Sony as well if you need it but it looks like you might be swamped with them :D

The A200 was my first dslr, the first camera I ever owned that had some form of IBIS - sadly the IBIS system busted after not very long [bought it used] and I ended up selling it on for peanuts and headed off down the Nikon route thereafter. Was a decent cam for it's time though, when the 'steady shot' did function as intended

Ha ha, you win! :D But only because I sold my Zorki & OM10. ;)

I still have my Olympus Trip (I think). Don't ask me where it is cos I don't know. Many boxes still to unpack.

Back in the days when the AP forum was active! Can't help wondering if they've accepted that digital is mainstream yet!!!

Unpacking after the house move I found this.
We are all nostalgic.

Oh, actually: it's just been discovered that these cause like serious illness, fires, earthquakes, famine, plagues and wars and stuff. Fortunately for you, I run a safe disposal service. So if you could just PM me for where to send it, that'd be great, thanks. I don't need any payment or anything; I'm doing this for the good of Humanity.

Glad you found it, I was with the others in wanting to offer to post one to you if you couldn't.. if I could find it in my desk! As for antiques, there's always the Film and Conventional section if you want to broaden your social isolation horizons with a trip down memory lane. ;)

It’s mine I tell you, it’s mine!

That's a beauty mate. I keep thinking about getting a new FM2 (well, a mint one at least; BNIB ones are going for daft money now), just to have a 'nice' one cos my 40 year oldone is literally falling to bits now. But then I see Ti versions, and I have to have a word with myself...

Well it still appears to work. I need to buy a few rolls of film and run them through. I always enjoyed using it.

I also have a Nikon F100 somewhere in a box. I need to buy cupboards, drawers & bookshelves before I unload all these boxes.

No; you will just end up with more clutter. Sell the F100 (and FM2) to me, hey presto, no more clutter! :D
