thank you had looked at the Moders. i had also looked allot on line just wondered if anyone could recommend some where

when i was there i went to a place where girls were chomping on some sausages - looked like they were enjoying it though. let me know if you want the address.

We need pictures!!!

terri - it is awash with good places to eat but as with anything there is always a chance you could pick a bad day.

Seems a bit unhealthy, the place I went they preferred bananas and a nice game of ping-pong

You could give the floating Chinese restaurant opposite the train station a whirl.

Gumbo try 'Ciel Bleu' on the 23rd floor of the Hotel Okura.

If you're only there for one night and you want sublime food with a view to match, then this is where it's at. ;)

thank you every one will be looking into them .

Have a look at the website for Soen...a realy good Thai restraunt...or if Indian is your thing then Mayur is also v good.

Practically any taste is catered for!!!!

Lot of far east variations (Going back to Dutch East Indies days)

So many places to try

We did the mini cruise to Bruges a few years ago, loved it but the weather was great, sunny , warm and a flat crossing both ways

Bruges is good because you're only 30 minutes from the dock so you get a long day to look around

I believe it's a couple of hours on a coach to Amsterdam , you can extend by a day but you need to find your own accommodation

its only 30/40 mins from the dock to amsterdam if you go via newcastle

I`ve been a few times.

I think...........:D

If you like off the tourist trail, small traditional type food and places then I know a place that does excellent food. Their white asparagus is just amazing! I can't remember the name off the top of my head but if you are interested then I can dig it out.

Andy if you have the time that would be great that is what we are looking for.
