Yes
I have to watch this program against my will because my other half loves it, Tonight I made the comment " You know the models spoil this program and they should concentrate on the photography & pp side more "

I find myself blanking the models out and drooling over the camera & equipment.

I ask, As a male is this wrong

I watch both ANTM & BNTM ... our version isnt a patch on the American programme.... neither the models or the judging panel!

Always interesting to see what is shown as the model's 'best pic'.
Sometimes theyre really fab ... other times questionable to say the least.

I agree with Inaglo, i generally watch ANTM, and I look at the photography, rather than the modelling, I look at the direction, the lighting, etc, and look at the end product the "best" picture and sometimes I think "thats really pour"

How critical are we?! LOL

I often find myself watching the fashion channel on sky just to get tips from the pro's on what set up they are using.

I've only seen the adverts for BNTM, and can't say I'm really suprised. Are they honestly the best they could find? I know they're looking for 'striking' rather than simply attractive, but most of those lot are (clothes) horses....

When are these on? i feel i'm missing out on some free drooling :D

Couldn't agree more but somtimes I get the feeling its the next top make-up artist not next top model.

I went and shot 'Britains next top model' last year, and this year - but for part of Living TV... Am I lucky :D

Not the greatest shot in the world, but god what do they make some of them wear!!! She was really nice though.

I was watching Coronation Street last night and at one point you could see lights/reflectors reflected in Blanche's glasses for a second or two - I spent the rest of the programme watching for it again. I often find myself wondering when watching two people chatting on the TV how many suns they actually have in their sky :)

you need some help? ;)

I prefer ANTM to the British version, it just seems more professional set up (plus ANTM has Jay Manuel and Nigel Barker (drool)). I can't stand all the behind scenes stuff, all the arguing etc etc but I enjoy watching how the professionals pose and shoot the models. I love seeing all the different sets and wish that I could be doing that (shooting not posing)

Shane - if you have Living, the current BNTM series is on 9pm but they also show re-runs on Living at 6pm of ANTM.

awwww you can't say that about that bunch of BNTM! I think they really are gorgeous, speaking for the younger generation i am :D:D:D, and somebody whose most likely to actually view any ad. campaigns which they'd be used in, etc. they are supposed to have a combination of beauty and unique appeal....more so unique :D, i can't stand ANTM, hate it in fact :D lol. I think the judges are gross, girls utterly rude, and in general i dislike Americans (i can say that because i am one of them!), very very very fake and artificial (lol). Grass is always greener on the other side apparently :D, I always watch fashion tv & NTM series just to see the camera gear, setup, MUA, walk, etc. :D
