Yes
Just bought myself a digital micro scale from amazon, and I had to laugh at the 'What others bought' list at the bottom of the confirmation email, which included Rizla King size papers and 100 grip seal bags

Of course my reasons for purchase were completely above board ;)

Reminds me of filling up at 2am many years ago and waiting for a student in front of me at the window asking for "a pack of 10 Benson & Hedges, and a packet of king size skins." to which the cashier replied "Would you like a couple of Mars bars too?"!

Our petrol station in Kirkstall used to ask exactly the same

No, I lived there when I was at Uni. Kirkstall Brewery for 2 years then Headingley. Miss that place so much

YaY! I used to live in Headingly. I had a fish and chip shop and two pubs within about 60 yards. Perfect. Do you know the Original Oak?

Original Oak is still there, great pub, although to be fair I haven't been for a few years.

For fear of taking the post off topic, yes, I used to drink in the Skyrack as I played rugby and that was the sports pub. Used to wander to the Oak for the Malboro girls to get our free fags

The fish and chip shop i Headingley (Brett's) was the best ever. We used to go in there after the pub for a bag of scraps. Delicious

Given the original post, I reckon this thread is ripe for banter! And mindless drivel!!!

Last game of rugby I played was a few (OK, lots of fews!!!) years ago and was for a team comprised of door and bar staff from a few pubs and clubs against a university team. Come 1/2 time, the uni team were supplied with energy drinks etc. while our "coach" brought on a few trays of pints and a packet of fags! Needless to say, we were soundly beaten but I'm pretty sure we enjoyed the 2nd half more than the opposition did!

And that's on a good day! :P
