Amazon - Item missing from packaging

First time happened to me in all the years off using Amazon

First off all Amazon replaced no problem but I'm wondering if anyone else has had any experience off this.

Kids wanted me to order a Switch version of FIFA 18 with some Amazon xmas vouchers yesterday for delivery today, they've been waiting all day and we had a later than usual delivery from Amazon after 6pm

After my lad opened it and to his disappointment he said ....there is no cartridge, I looked and there wasn't even any cellophane over the game box

1. This got returned empty and then shipped out again
2. Cartridge removed during transit somewhere along the lines. Looks to me when my lad open the Amazon packaging it didn't tear on the tear strip but a pre opened weak spot maybe?

Thoughts anyone?

Just tell Amazon, there shouldn't be any problems with getting it refunded. They know this stuff happens and as long as you're not in the habit of making such claims they'll just accept your word I'm sure.

Was straight onto Amazon 5 minutes after it arrived, as mentioned above they are replacing no problems

I'm not in a habit at all, again as I've said first time i've been in this situation, been using amazon for years. My word is true and I hope Amazon can fully investigate.

Post really is for any ideas how and where this happens along the line

I wouldn't suggest that you ever were in the habit, that's not what I meant and sorry if it came across that way. I just meant that as long as Amazon don't see any issue they'll be happy and quick to sort it for you, as I see they have done
