Amazon - 9 months later & a replacement - now thats a service..

Yep 9 months later & a replacement - Thats not having ago its a compliment..

Brought a Manfrotto Modopocket mini tripod from them last November & yesterday went to use it, opened the little legs when suddenly the spring & pin went flying... Found the spring but no pin.. Emailed them yesterday (saturday afternoon) regarding this if it would have been covered by any guarantee and received a reply today (Sunday) stating that they will be sending out a replacement as soon as humanly possible..

Now if thats not an awesome after sales service then what is :shrug:

I've ordered a book from them on their evening delivery service, it arrived damaged - I emailed them, they replied promptly then sent out another book on an evening delivery the following day & they even paid for the return of the book & then - they refunded me half of the evening delivery charge....

Some of their prices maybe slightly higher than some - but what a service - for this I may just sign up to their "Amazon prime"...

Well done Amazon - I'm staying shopping with you :thumbs:

I've always had a great service from Amazon too. On the rare occasion I've had a problem it's always been dealt with quickly and to my satisfaction.

Businesses like this deserve our custom.

I'm not so keen on some of their sellers in their marketplace - unless they have a website - which sometimes is dearer than their Amazon shop page...

Think other online retailers should have the same CS as Amazon....
 
He got a refund from Amazon? Again, good service from Amazon- not so from Netgear...

Absolutely. I guess it's a shame that he had to go through the nonsense with Netgear first.
 
My Daughters Netbook failed after 8 months, now discontinued so Amazon gave a full refund.
Didn't expect that and thought it would be a repair, excellent service and sure way to keep my business
 
I never had any issue with them, awesome service, and I find their prices pretty much as cheap as I can find, and to be honest, I would prefer to spend a couple of extra quid to get from them knowing that I have them to go back to if anything goes wrong.

I always recommend them.
