For nearly two weeks I have been fighting with Pipex-Toscali-TalkTalk to get our broadband back online, not their fault, we must have a problem our end, please try retyping username/passsword, your router is broken, wiring snapped, filters gone wrong etc.
Finally on Monday I spoke to someone who seemed to know what they were talking about, but said they couldn't do anything even if they wished to because we were going elsewhere, basically they didn't give a toss as we were moving on, all I keep getting is emails and letters reminding me not to stop the direct debit and they might need to help themselves to more money from my account, no chance that was stopped on the 15th.
Now the amazing thing is that today I have broadband back as promised courtesy of BT whio managed to connect me to the same in house router, wiring etc without even knocking on the door
In the meantime we have been using mobile broadband via T-Mobile and I have been really impressed on the whole.
