Hey all!

On this relaxing sunday where the british spring officially starts I am waiting for the OH to get in then gonna have a G&T.

Now tell me... at 24 am I weird?!?

Do you guys and gals have any drinks that you are afraid to say you like?!

Vodka and Tonic. I love it. And I'm also 24.

Vodka and Anything does it for me too!
I am just slightly concerned to find myself yearning for a drink that my nan would order!
EEEK!

sherry mmmmmmmmmm harveys bristol cream mmmmmmmmmmmm

but I am 40 lol

Does Absinthe count? No?

In that case I'll rather shamefacedly confess to enjoying both Archers and Lemonade and Pimms and Lemonade....

DJ...
Archers and lemonade - slight effeminate but no shame - just means you are comfortable in yourself!

Pimms and Lemonade - no shame whatsoever - awesome drink that you can shove in any number of spirits. Great for BBQ's. Not too much poncy fruit in *** please.

Bacardi, fresh lemon juice, ice and Coke(Zero).Does the trick for me.
Pete.

That's ok then :D I can live with that - although personal preference is either Absinthe or Vodka and Orange... in pint glasses ;)

Pimms is a great spring/summer drink, no shame!

I have a bottle of ye 'old 80% vol Absinthe, but thats not really a drink....just poison :p
I have a bottle of nearly empty "Disaronno"...that is the worst i have to offfer for shamefull drinks :D

You drink Absinthe by the pint?! blimey!

I like Port & Lemonade, it's great for colds :D and I'm only 31

Jeeeeesus! (sorry Not in the religion sense of the word!) thats a serious drink!

Have you ever done ye old sugar cube trick? Or seen a green dragon???

Or is the green dragon simply the drinkers reflection in the big white telephone after drinking some??

Strangely enough, a decent Absinthe will mix well with Sprite or 7Up, rather than ordinary lemonade and it becomes remarkably palatable - especially with lots of ice and a slice of lemon - and yes, you can drink that in pint glasses ;)

A nice cup of coffee. Now thats the ticket.

Or on a cold day. Take 1 oxo cube, crush the oxo cube, into a mug add hot water, and a pinch of pepper.

Any how, strong drink is a tool, of the devil. Not only will it rot you guts, but it will also rot you soul.

I have a liking for Real Ale :)

but only as shandy :bonk:

CAMRA won't let me bring lemonade into their Beer Festivals :shake::'(

I've found that when I go out I start trying different drinks. Brooklyn beer is my latest discovery, some of the others I can't remember their names. It's not weird.

Ale mainly, G&T and Pimms in summer when it's warm :)

Red taboo and lemonade is pretty good too.

Port and blue WKD for a cheeky vimto aint too bad either.

I think I'm an alcoholic :(

Hi Steve,
If you get the chance, try Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. Expensive but gorgeous! ;)

Ahh this will be the coffee beans that are feed to cats and then are recovered once they have been through the cat and then processed. But as said it does make a very nice cup of coffee

Nope! You seem fine and on the right tracks, I have just bottled up 8 gallons of home made cider today. Not your kit stuff either, I discovered it is good for cleaning the kitchen floor tiles as well

No, blue mountain is from Jamaica, the coffee that goes throught the wildcat is called Kopi Luwak and is from Indonesia (and a couple of other places I think)

No thanks. I bet it still tates like coffee!

I have used coffee to develop a film but there's no way I'm going to drink the stuff!

Steve.

I enjoy a good bottle of Chardonnay, in fact I've just had one!

On balance I think I'll stick with whisky and dry ginger. Yes I know ... it'll make our Scottish friends say I should just have the whisky... but I like it!

 I will take an even bigger hit on this one and say I only drink it with lemonade...

*ducks for cover*

The best drinking experience in the world is to be had on the 26th of November each year, when one should find oneself in a house in the country, at 9pm, with a raging storm outside. One should have a fine single malt in one paw, a cigarette in the other, and be standing leaning on one's elbow on the mantlepiece, while regaling a gaggle of bright young fillies with tales of hunting tigers in India.

Anything else is simply vulgar.
