Please don't take this the wrong way but whats the big deal with having a big post count anyway, and more importantly why do people feel the need to post to tell others they have reached the 2, 3, 4 thousand mark ? :thinking:

IMO 100 informative, helpful posts are worth more to the forum than someone whos post count is boosted by hundreds of one word replies such as "thanks", "lol" etc. !

Im not getting at you personally because Im not aware of your postings but I have seen it elsewhere (mentioning no names MATT)

Im chilled honestly :thumbs:, and all for good contribution, I just find it a tad irritating reading through threads where people have made one answer replies one after the other (that could have been multi quoted) in a blatant attempt to boost their post count. And for why I don't know.

Maybe im just turning into a miserable old git ! :thinking:

To be fair, the most drivel is posting in Out of Focus, which doesn't add to post counts, and even Matt uses multi-quote! :D

I heard a rumor about a charge of 5p per post is going to be applied here in TP beginning of this coming February :shrug:


The last I heard, this charge will be back-dated to 1st November 2008 :)
