Not at all. One of the few worthwhile things on the box.

Mr Attenborough is in a class of his own.

Why would that be sad? It's a stunning series and well worthy of adding to any collection...... However small.. : D

Not at all I collect wildlife photography based books and dvd sets - BBC ones mainly and got frozen planet dvd set and book for Xmas.

I got the Frozen Planet book for Christmas too, it's beautiful.

It is, the snowflake shots are just stunning imo. All of it is though to be honest.

Frozen planet was an awesome series and well worth owning on dvd.

I'm looking forward to the new wildlife series about birds, it looks like some have had cameras fitted to them to film exactly what the get up to :D

I bet the birds really lived that?

Sad? No

Atleast you've added to the collection the convenient way! Unlike me, who tried to add the life series to my collection by buying the daily mail (which i don't read) every week to get a copy of the episodes in a free give away. Needless to say im missing a few episodes... :bang:

Me and the Mrs are big fans of DA, and one of our New Year's resolutions was to watch an episode every Sunday night. Makes a nice routine, and a good end to the weekend

how different is frozen planet from 'life in the freezer' - ive got the latter and dont want to double up

This. HD nature programs are simply stunning.

Not sad at all. We have the Life Collection, and many others by DA. For christmas this year, I spent one evening trawling amazon for the DVD series' we hadn't already got and bought them for the wife for Christmas! :)

I think there may be the odd one we haven't got, but we have about 2 feet of shelf with JUST David Attenborough series' on it. :)

I love the one with all the insects and spiders...feeds my macro photography bug. :)

have it in HD..... was always sceptical about it.... until we bought one of the previous ones (life?) in HD and whacked it into the PS3....

Wow!
