What say you TPers? Is Glee awesome or tripe?
 
I'd like to give you an honest opinion, but I have reputation to uphold.
 
I know quite a few people that like it, but they aren't what you'd call normal people.

I've haven't seen it yet, and I can't say I am overly fussed about doing so.
 
Hells no! I know that I will be judged, shamed, scorned, criticised.... but it's great :D

What they did to Journey was verging on being worse than what the X-Lister, er, I mean Factor did to it. I physically couldn't manage to watch a whole episode. Spence had it spot on with the High School Musical thing, it really is that bad.

That is, of course, just my opinion though :D
 
Meh - I dunno. I think the format of it could get boring quickly. We shall see.

On a side note - I cant wait for Skins to start again this week! :thumbs:

That it aint! Its a brilliant satire with some great black comedy moments from the same people that were involved with Nip/Tuck. Plus it has the marvellous Jane Lynch, who is on the best comedy actors to emerge in the past few years. It does have a certain sense of humour though that is a bit love it or hate it.

That's even worse. I can't freaking stand skins. More channel 4/E4 nonsense.

omgomgomgomg yes, dan't wait :D

they're making an american series of skins too, that I can just imagine they'll be forced to make pretty pc, not have explicit drink / drug / sex references, so it'll just be.... meh >_<

and glee is definitely not 'high school musical' >_>

Been there. Done that. Had to watch the 1st one with Mrs OutLore - and I have to say, it's pants. But then I don't watch much TV anyway, because most of it is pants.

I'll watch something if it's new - but they just go around and around with the same old shows, different location/people/time of day (delete as appropriate)

Also the thing with Glee is there is lots of non-pc humour stashed away. The first episode I watched had the lad in the wheelchair singing the lead lines to 'Sit Down, you're rocking the boat' :lol:
 
not watched it, I just cant bring myself to after hearing their version of 'dont stop' onthe radio too many times.

on the other hand, 24 reared its ugly head again last night, its the same basic plot, with different bad guys, and newer tech bits- didnt stop me being glued to sky 1 for 2 hrs ***!

I gave up watching 24 after season 2 - I found myself willing the bad guys to kill Bauer's wife and daughter - slowly :naughty:

I hated it when Spooks when 24ish and started having long drawn out plots.

Skins is utter rubbish. Yeah its teenagers doing stuff that teenagers do, and im a teenager. But it just bores the f*** outta me![/rant]

Glee. Havnt watched it cant pass judgement :p

Glee - sounds like Clarified butter used in indian cookery to me:)
 
I'm a Gleek! It's a very funny show, quite oddly dark in places. Like disney meets twin peaks.
