Have a wierd question...

I live in a "listed" building which means a satellite cannot be installed to this house.

I'm not in a cable enabled area.

I want to get HD channels like BBC HD etc but these r onlny available through satellite...

My question is obviously is there any alternative?:thinking::thinking:

Doesn't Auntie commence live streaming next week?

At our last house Mrs G wouldn't let me have a sat dish on the house  so I put it behind a bush on a pole at the end of the garden :D

It worked , she couldn't see it

Remember that when living in a listed building the restrictions are not only on adding things to the outside structure of the property. In some areas the restrictions also apply to areas adjacent to the building, like gardens and sheds. So i would check with your local authorty before mounting a dish any where.

Also be prepared for slightly higher installation charges if/when you do get one installed. And you will also be responsible for certain finishing too, like burying the cable if the dish is put up at the bottom of the garden.

Set it on a 'temporary mobile' mount, or depending on how strict your council are, you might get away with a post in the garden if you put it out of general sight.
