Following on from a recent thread where hockey bags and ski bags were recommended for carrying light stands. We are looking for bargain non photography stuff that can be used instead of the rebranded Chinese stuff the main brands sell to us at rip of prices. Anything is allowable as long as it does not have a major photography brand name attached.
I will start with the counterweights I use with my boom mounted studio lights. So instead of buying this empty bag I bought these far more useful weights
I hope you guys have more bargains like this as I dislike spending money with the main rip off photography brands as it means I end up having less cash to use for the actual taking of photographs.
