Hello Peeps,

My dad comes back from frequent holidays after taking around 1500 to 2000 photos per 2 week trip.

He gets them all printed (Yes I mean all...) and we have been using Photobox.co.uk for a long time however Photobox seem to be on a mission to make a complete mess up out of everything they do.

The new website is absolutely rubbish and the whole ordering process is rubbish.

Just wondering if anyone knows of any alternatives for a large quantity of 6x4.5 prints preferably around the 5p each mark with a decent uploading facility.

Otherwise its going to be alot of :bang: with Photobox.

Thanks,

murray

dscolourlabs has been pretty good so far. Not keen on the upload facility either to be honest but it's better than photobox, just

As I am often found to be saying, Lee at togsprint is well worth a try - maybe not as cheap as photobox, but worth every extra penny, not only as his prints are really good quality, but there is no problems with quality control etc. He is also there to talk to via email or phone if you want to discuss any aspect of the job. He is currently reprinting some prints for me that the postal service has lost - no problem to him, but a big deal to me.

He did the same for me, top man I have to say, I daresay he would do you a damn good deal on 2000 prints aswell !

I understand your gripe with Photobox but they have one thing that is a real plus for me. It works alongside my flikr account so I only need to upload pictures once. I use Flikr as my online backup for my photo's and so upload all my pics there anyway. Its a major plus not having to do this twice.

Although, I am thinking of giving togsprint a go next time, as I prefer to let someone I am familiar with take my money rather than a big coporation who don't care who buys what as long as money comes in.
