Alsjazzeras 2016 TP 52 WEEK 52 CELEBRATE/CELEBRATION ADDED

Great shot Allan. Great focus on the eyes and excellent separation from the background despite the dark colours which could easily have merged together.

Thanks

Is this the Allan.H Jazz Era? And his dog with bright eyes ...

It is and the jazz era is now over, time to move on :exit:

Great dog portrait, I like the catchlight in his eyes and the DoF.

Beautifully captured pic of a lovely dog, good work.
Love the contrast in it.

A nice Triptych and 2/3rds ( well I don't know what its called :D ) Allen.
The Z behind the cross is some what serendipitous too :D
Fits right in for this week :)

Nope, I haven't a clue what you'd call it either. If three = Tri and Five = Quin, then maybe this is a Quintych !?!? Whatever, it is a lovely take on the theme Allan. I particularly like the Welcome board with the shadows playing across the face of it.

Quintych works for me

Nice set there Allan, I would place them slightly differently as the first 2 both contain bricks, so would do them every other one... but that's just me being a t*** :D

Liking them all, B&W suits the religious overtone for the theme too, like them :)

Thanks I think you are right about the order

5 different denominations?
As @Cobra says, the Mark of Zorro in the middle shot adds (a bit of fun) to the image.
Works for the theme for me.

All different denominations indeed all within walking distance of my house
Thanks for looking

Pentaptych!

Great idea and well executed and processed. I think the order works.

Like that, not sure what 5 panels are called....2 diptych, 3 tryptic, no more ideas :)

Cheers.

Edit, just noticed Bernd's post...

Blimey ... all that in walking distance! ....

Not sure .... but the last one stands out as one I'd like to zoom in to.

Works for me Allan great take on the theme and shows the diversity of our country.. A good panel of images that would all stand on there own as well as in a group.

Perfect idea for the theme Allan - I really like the different lines and angles in the Kingdom Hall shot.

Thank you

Very nicely done, interesting subject with good colours and textures that contrast well with the even black of the background

Interesting idea ... good detail and lighting. (y)

I do like your botanical shots Allan. These patterns in leaves fascinate me too. Great colours and detail in this one :)

Thanks

Fantastic colours and texture Allan, and that little patch is splendid, really like this, I'd print this and hang it in my porch for sure (y)

"in my porch" its that good?

I do like blacks to be black and that's perfect, it really shows off the colour and detail in the leaf, very nice indeed

thanks Susie

... don't get much more male/female than that whilst keeping it clean. Sexy lighting. :D

I really like the contrast and rich colour of Arranged - leaf texture is amazing. Yes, agree with David about the lighting for Male/Female - nicely done Allan.
