Alsjazzeras 2016 TP 52 WEEK 52 CELEBRATE/CELEBRATION ADDED

Somehow missed a couple...

Signs - Like this, fine detail to the crop is spot on for me, courses straightened and cropped to perfection, and although the window as a whole is central the signs are in the low third... Cool :thumbs:

Horizontal - Ha Haaaa that is excellent :D
 
Flora, Its all been said Allan.
Its lovely image and the jar in the upper right, works very well indeed.
 
FLora what can I say that hasn't been said be everyone else? Not a lot. A cracking image Allan very nice indeed
 
Tend to agree with the comments above Allan, did you consider a different coloured background ? just out of curiosity

Yes I did but had nothing to hand will look out for some different ones

Signs - Nice image - what was the colour version like? I suspect that there would be a riot of colour across the signs.
Horizontal Reshoot - Good detailed capture of the dead fly. A bit yuck though imo.
Flora - Nice simple (looking) shot. The composition is excellent.
 
I think I've seen your fern on white BG before but this one's top notch :clap: ... colour & detail.

The blown bit is the reflection of the doorway, I took this on the kitchen floor using the light coming through the door and having to wait till the sun came out from behind the clouds for the shadow, hence the blown out part

Excellent idea and composition Allan - love the mix of wood and metal textures as well as the hard shadow.

Looks like you got your wish for a "Erich von Daniken" friendly theme for week 28 !
Interesting "Twist" on Activity there Allan, I don't see any issue with the blown bottom of the spoon, it's in keeping with the lighting.

I don't really do macro insects and today was probably not the best day to attempt it, a little windy and dull so high ISO and hope for the best

Nicely detailed Allan, I like the subtle pinks of the petals and the deep contrast of the centre with good details in the flies
 
signs - certainly plenty of them I am not sure if it needs some colour or maybe to be able read some of them

Activity - looks to me like you've had Uri Geller round I like the shadows
Life - great details on the flies and flower centre

Very nice Allan, as mentioned maybe a little tweak to make it "pop" but that's really a hyper criticism
 
That drop-off in definition and colour works really well Allan. Like the strong detail in the flies and flower.
