Allan.H TP52 2017 WEEK 52 WEATHER ADDED

It looks a little too bright for me especially with the white vignetting. My eye tends to move around the image looking for a main focal point without settling anywhere.

What like the big clove of garlic bang in the middle of the pic

You forgot the most malodorous of all Allan, sulphur :coat:

Lots of sulphates in garlic which leaves such a fragrant trail the next day :D

Who could forget that :shifty: :wideyed:

im not sure its a mineral, and i don't like the white vignette. lovely shot of a garlic clove though, it has to be said. :)

It isn't a mineral but it contains minerals :jawdrop:
I don't like the vignette either now to be honest, thanks for looking in :)

Smooth - Love the gorgeous colours, they really pop against the black bg.:D

Mineral - Nice muted colours on this one and it certainly contains lots of minerals:D

A tough call this one, shoehorn or not shoehorn, overexposed or subjectively highlighted

Okay, idea wise splendid, I wish I had thought of it, and lighting works fine for me too, there is even some nice detail in the shadow which I like, so pass :D

Thanks, this is how i am reading it "bang on theme, beautifully exposed"

And I thank you for that :)

Smooth - lovely colours on the snake.

Mineral - As far as it being a shoehorn or not my thinking is that it's your 52 so do whatever you are happy with. It does look a little bright to me but could be my monitor, I like the detail and slight colour in it though.

A good staple diet there Allan .. certainly a Wholesome food too, so themed at least twice over .... this week (ha ha). Great idea - wish I'd thought of it. Well taken against the plain white bg and the soft shadow to "ground" it.

Thanks Carl, thought I would steer clear of controversy this week, the idea behind it was taking something apart and putting it back together to make it whole again, plus its a whole food apparently :)

Allan I like your thought process on this. Good shot also. Using the staples was a clever idea.

Cheers

Kath

The shoehorn banter was the best part last week for me .... think I got the shoehorn - may try for it again this time ha ha. What with Garlic last week and now Apple this, you're probably the fittest TP52'er around.

Thanks I was trying to put it back together badly a bit Frankenstein if you like

I did enjoy last week, made me laugh, though I might have upset our resident rock expert :police: :jawdrop:

 Oh no no no :banghead:

:) I took the same shot this morning but didn't have the time to post it up and now you beat me to it.

Great minds think the same.

:ROFLMAO: Great minds indeed

Hahaaa having seen Stan's comments are going to be similar too, as it still amazes me that despite having the same idea the execution is totally different, that's what I love about the 52... a real nice high key image, love the rugged staples and the diagonal cuts the apple, and interesting that unlike Stan you used the full original apple, I think it works great, love it

Thanks, cut and shunt fruit, its the new garlic :angelic:

Great original idea and well executed. Clean and very sharp.

Poor little apple has had an operation, when will the staples be coming out.:( I bet it was in pieces before the op took place.:D

Whole, oh yeah. Works really well. Kind of a Frankenstein's monster apple :)

Good lighting with subtle shadow and the chunky staples make it for me.

Cheers.

Interesting idea, apple looks great against the background and the sliced apple reassembled with staples adds a unique twist. (y)
