Very simple, but it works. I like the composition, with the two leaves on a slight diagonal.
 
That's a lovely clean shot... it would make a great wall canvas.
 
Classy! I love how it blends with the forum BG to create a larger more minimal composition too.
 
I've never seen a bird like this. All the starlings we get her are the Common Starling. This one kind of reminds me of Marty Feldman...:)

It’s the first time I have seen one it’s was in a part of the zoo we regularly visit but seems to be a new addition as there was no information about it, took a bit of a research to find out what it was.

Lol.. I can't get the image out of my head now. The colours are stunning - nice capture.

What striking colours, that eye is so prominent, so yellow.
I think you've given the bird the right amount of space in the frame.
 
Don't get ahead of yourself, Cobra is devious and I think the lower picture will be good for the possible next theme when he gives us 'Looking Up'. :D

He/she looks like a sweet dog.
