I think you may be able to as it has changed on my lock screen to big ugly and bold without my doing anything :(

It works. I seems I can’t change it on my existing screen/wallpaper but can on a new one. I guess I’ll have to modify a new one back to resemble the old.

Yes, I had to find the image in my photos and reselect it so I could customise it.

I ordered the 14pro direct from apple as well and whilst it initially said it would be delivered tomorrow that changed today to sometime at the end of October

I ordered at exactly 1pm last Friday and had my confirmation email at 1:03pm.

I don't think people thought demand for the Pro models was going to be as high as it is.

I got my confirmation email near on instantly as well, did not stop them changing the delivery date though.

What does your online account say about the iPhone delivery date?

It showed the delivery as the 16th from the start.

It's now 15 minutes away according to the DPD tracker.
 
I have in the past found John Lewis have stuff (less choice of course) available when Apple have long dates — and a 2 year warranty of course. Other retailer too no doubt.

When you long press on the Lock Screen, you get the customise option. Then touch the widget bar and all the available widgets will appear.
 
My iPhone 14 Pro arrived this afternoon. The transfer of data from my previous iPhone worked without any problems.

I also ordered one of only two available cases for the 14 Pro the clear one. BIG mistake it’s so slippery! and a nightmare to pick up.

I need to distress the edges to make it more “pick up able”. Worst Apple accessory ever.

I'm impressed David, At the moment I'm only viewing on my phone but that looks to be quite a pull up and yet still appears to be retaining some good detail.

If you look at the originals on a computer you can see an amazing amount of detail. Not sure I will take many images in the 48mp format as they are huge, but it's good to be able to use it for special ones. The 12 mp ones are certainly more than good enough for use as web images. My DSLR only wins when doing things like Telephoto images of animals and birds in flight.

I'm hoping to give my wife's new "iPhone 14 Pro Max" a work out soon as she pre-ordered one and received it yesterday. I shall wait until I can get the one I want from the Apple Store though as I always enjoy a visit to the store at Covent Garden. The size of files doesn't bother me as I would always go for the highest quality I can get from any recording medium. I was hoping that the 14 Pro Max would be available with 2tb of storage but 1tb will have to do, and in the unlikely event that I get close to filling it up at any one time I'll just transfer some snaps to my iCloud A/C and then transfer them to external hard drives when I get back.
 
Anyone had any problems with "iOS 16" ? I've updated my "iPhone 12 Pro Max" to 15.7 but not as yet to 16. I've had no problems with 15.7 on my iPad and it doesn't show that 16 is available for it yet, but it does show as being available for my iPhone.
