Hey folks,

The clues in the title really.. i have a shiny new Canon EO5 600D and if im honest it's a mine field of buttons to press for a complete novice! all the gear & nae idea is very true im afraid.

A friend of mine highly reccommeded the forum so here i am. Hopefully i wont be so useless in a few weeks time after getting some hints and tips from the site :thumbs:

Also a good read is "Understanding Exposure" by Bryan Peterson.

You'll find lots of great tips on here, I was in the same position as you a few months back with regards to the buttons, you'll soon figure out what they do!
