HI All

I am always after info and I thank everyone who replies.

I am looking for a photo scanner preferably as an all in one printer that will be able to scan and reproduce excellent pictures.

We have alot of old a4 printed pictures that we would like to make digital copies and have physical copies as well.

Many Thanks
Scott

Hi Scott,

My old Canon S900 just gave up the ghost and, after looking around at second hand S9000 and also some other A3 printers I went with a Canon Pixma MP6150.

It's an all in one printer/copier/scanner and, having read a few reviews, it semed to me to be a good option for sub £150.

Been pleased with the photos I have printed and the ordinary A4 printing is also pretty good and it doesn't seem to eat ink like my old S900!!

Hope that helps.

Nige,
How many ink tanks has the Canon got? I have a Kodak printer with one combined colour and 1 black and I find the colour goes off quite quickly even when it is still showing 1/3 full on the display. I think I may go back to getting a printer with seperate colour cartridges.

Thanks a lot for for the recommendation

I have just bought a HP photosmart all in one, ok I was just looking for a general printer nothing fancy to printpics on but I did a test and I was well supprised by the results.

It scans wonderful and the pics it printed are on my wall, next to some that where done at a shop and well yes they do the job

It was only £60 from amazon too

I always like a bargain which model did you get, just done a quick search and there olds of them

Another vote for canon here. After 5 years, my pixma ip4300 died, so I replaced it with a PIXMA MG6150. (About £130 from amazon)

I just bought the Canon Pixma MG6150... very happy with the output! :)
