Hi All,
Seasons greetings, has anyone else with a Nikon(d200 for me) been experiencing problems with shutter not fully opening on manual settings but when put on to programme mode it works fine.
Any one got any ideas on how to remedy this I would be grateful.

Sorry to see you appear to be having some trouble with your D200 .. sounds a little unusual.

Can you give us some more information about the circumstances when the shutter appears to not open fully - I'm thinking shooting modes, shutter speeds, apertures, flash, etc? Likewise details of when it does appear to work properly.

How many shutter actuations does you camera have?
 
Welcome to our forum. You might get more interest if you were to put your problem as the thread title and not your name.
 
If its only with flash, then the shutter speed is too high, set it to 1/250 or slower. If its doing it all the time in manual, then no idea.
