just been accepted on my first submissions and really quite happy so thought Id share! :D

Now to get 20,000 images on there to be able to make any money out of it :bang:
 
Ive got about 50 images on there and not a bean so far...

Im just waiting for that big magazine cover to come along :banana:

Congrats:thumbs::thumbs: Could you show some examples of the kind of image you submitted?
 
Crazy.. I posted a shallow DOF shots similar to that cat pic for my first shots and it got rejected for "shallow depth of field"
I do wonder what goes on in the minds of thier QC'ers. It seems its totally random as to what they let though for one person and dont for another.

Now I seem to be able to get away with it, as they only check 1 out of the bunch you upload.
 
I know, I was fully expecting to get knocked back as Ive seen some of the other submissions from people on here and they are much better. Maybe there was a cat lover among the reviewers this time! lol

Im in the midst of uploading a load of images now, the pain is that they dont keep the metadata keywords so it means typing them all out again. I might do a doc of frequently used ones so I can just copy and paste...

So typical advertising type pictures work best? I see.:thumbs:

Well Id say any would work best but I guess judging by Tom's experience its not necessarily the case. If at first you dont succeed and all that...
 
If you have lightroom, you can export the keywords with the image and they show up in Alamy, but they are all in the comprehensive keywords, so you need to move them to main keywords, and essential yourself.
