Ok guys I get the message, I will have a think and try a little harder to come up with something outstanding  you're a tough lot aren't you? In fact I think I may have just thought of it so give me a couple of days to sort the re-shoot. ;)

:D:D:D

The shop front looks really good for a phone picture there is some nice sunlight there

Hi, home made #2 for me. Very menacing. I'd be tempted to crop an inch off the top. Also looks a tad soft??

Money, well I haven't done mine yet, so you are ahead of me there...I'll keep an eye out for your inspired photographs

Cheers.

Hey Alby, don't worry we all have week where we look at the theme and go :help::thinking::bang::bonk::shrug:

Maybe revisit the hole in the wall but with someone using it. With a good angle and dof could get a cracking shot fella

Hi Alby, sorry I missed your handmade shot. I prefer number two. Although there is more detail in the original the edited version looks far more menacing!

Oooo everyone has been harsh with your money shots:bang: I can understand why as you have always produced outstanding shots.
I personally prefer number two but it could do with some cropping and straightening to get rid of the surrounding brickwork and dodgy verticals.

At least you got a shot up though, it's so difficult to get motivated with an uninspiring theme:thumbs:

Thanks AllI will get round to redoing Money but just haven't found time to attack it yet. Thanks for the push too I need it sometimes :D

Here is my "win" shot, hopefully back on track with this one. Tough theme again I think. I was going to blur it but decided it looked better without.

hole in the Wall - not doing it for me this week fella, but 'Win' outstanding, nice to see you back on top form.....

Cheer Nick, I will tackle Money again as I have a good idea but need a little time to get it right.

Good week for you Alby. Like this one alot.
Well done.

Carol

Thanks Carol ;)
Marsha: I used a length of wire to hold it in the air then cloned it out, simple really.

Like the shot with good DOF on this one but I would liked to have seen more room left and bottom to show the black square that the move started from.

Hi Alby, that's really back on track; great shot!

To be perfect I'd agree with Trevor about seeing the starting square, and I do find the background a tiny bit distracting, but those are minor points and it is a great shot anyway.

Win, like it. Is it PPd or in camera....have to ask...;)

Like it all apart from: bit too shiny black piece and....sorry....very small white bit lower right :help:

Cheers.

I am not keen on the background either now, thanks all for passing by. ;)

Here are my shiny efforts, can't decide with to pop up so here are 4 of my favourite ones. ;)
If you didn't know, these are bubble structures taken at various magnification with the Mp-e 65 lens.

Seriously playing catch up with your thread

Industry – I like this one. The B&W conversion suits it well. I like the bright section in the background. Makes me think it’s the furnace in the forge.

Root – Great one. Definitely prefer the mono version

Handmade – I like the texture you’ve captured in the rust

Money – I would prefer #2 but it could do with some straightening

Win – Good thinking and nice lighting on this one

Shiny - #3 is very strong and wins for me

Cracking shot for shiny Alby, its 3 for me aswell.

The rest of your 52 arn't bad too

Graham

All good but have to agree that #3 is the most visually attractive

I really like this shot, well done, I think it looks ok frozen in mid air rather than blurred.

These are amazing, great idea.

Wow, fantastic for shiny! I really can't pick a favourite, but if you forced me I'd go for no 2 as it has nice depth to it.

HI Alby.....you're definately back

brilliant set of images for shiny...great abstracts , lovely colors & spot on focus 2 + 3 for me...superb work mister

WIN....very neat idea...great use of DOF ...YUP , another winner for me

#3 for me too Alby. Love everything about it, the vibrant colours, the detail and the compositition, I think its the joining of the three main bubbles make it easy on the eye. Good work
